Thurlow Jacobson's Homework

// Organic Surface Challenge: Croc Head //
For my organic sculpt challenge, I chose a crocodile head. Real-world images helped me nail the details accurately. The mix of textures, shapes, colors, and the teeth made it a good challenge. This project is a step towards sculpting dragons and mythical creatures inspired by crocodiles. I'm happy with the result—it looks like the references and boosts my confidence in ZBrush. I crafted two poses, one with the mouth open and one closed, to get the teeth right. Next, I plan to use Blender to create a concept art piece, picturing a massive crocodile head emerging from shadows, towering over a human figure.
// Organic Surface Practice: Ant Head //
Following Pablo's guidance, I sculpted an ant head for organic sculpt practice. I'm satisfied with the outcome, though I'd prefer smoother sections in the middle. The eyes have slightly stretched textures, reducing realism. Overall, I'm really pleased with my first-ever organic sculpt.
