I did a mix of digital and photo bashing here, the only things that called for digital were the helmet and the neck brace, which I designed in Nomad sculpt. While I’m a Photoshop wizard, photo bashing, like this is very new to me so I’ll probably be better off in the 3-D designed base classes. My only question from this section of the course is generally speaking, once I have a thumbnail sketch, how long would the typical pipeline process take on this photo bash style concept during production. When you’re working on concept pieces, do you give yourself cut off points so you don’t get to drawn into the work, how long should this piece take in a typical production? Because I was learning this process it took about four days to get through this, but I was mainly having fun.
