Create planetary rings using both 2D and 3D workflows, which can be applied to any kind of planet you choose.
2D Planet Rings Homework
Create planetary rings in Photoshop, and apply them to a sphere using the fully 2D methods that Gabriel demonstrated.
For extra credit, apply the rings to a planet you’ve previously created, and make a finalized piece of artwork!
3D Planet Rings Homework
Set up planetary rings in 3D. You can either import the ring texture you created earlier into your 3D software, or create a new ring texture. Then apply the rings to a sphere in 3D space.
