Lesson 4 of 8 Painting Historical Fiction
In this lesson, you will lay out three different camera angles of your world, using your composition sketches as a guide.
Scene Setup Homework
Create a set of 3D scenes based on 3 of your composition sketches. These should include basic lighting, fog, terrain, and any major architecture needed. You’ll return to the 3D stage later, so things don’t need to be quite so refined here. The main aspects to focus on in 3D are elements that you feel less comfortable painting or photobashing from scratch.
Rendering out with different render passes will be handled in the next lesson, so for this assignment you only need to focus on creating the scenes themselves.
