Linework Practice

I don't study other artist's styles as much as I could. I benefited already from just doing part 1 and from only 2 artists. Like how cleanly Sergio shapes all the contours, even down to the background. Also the fast and loose sketching style of Min Yum (Bumskee) -- particularly how he draws belts, buttons and ropes on top of clothing with a large brush and erases the inside. Super fast! --- For part 2, I used a photo of aespa's Karina hehe I didn't nail the styles 100% but the approaches are good to learn. Flaptrap's style is the hardest for me to capture, since he's painting and drawing at the same time!! I really love Sergio's style, but for brainstorm sketching, I think it takes too long for me to emulate/draw with really thin lines. My brain also can't group shapes as masterfully as he can. Min Yum's approach looks really graphic and clean, while also being dynamic and fast... hard to achieve that. It gets refined on top which is similar to how I usually work. Marcus' style is super clean and confident so if I had a sketch I liked and wanted to bolden things up, I could learn from his work that way too. Really cool to emulate how they all work. Was definitely a challenge for me since I don't work as tight as Sergio and Marcus, and I'm not as painterly and loose as Richard's work. Bumskee's style is really fun is closest to how I work. Hope to practice more and learn from all of them woohoo
