Artistic Inspirations

Took this opportunity to relook at what kind of art inspires me, and which artists I admire. Below are some examples, each with their own unique points I look up to and work toward. Mounash Pathak - Really like how the clean line work complements the presentation style. Jeff Simpson - Love the dark, gritty feel of the pieces, and how photo textures and elements work so well together to fit the goal of the image. Alexander Ostrowski - I am always in awe of how in depth and comprehensive Alexander's concept sheets of creatures are, and how he taps into the functional aspect of these organic designs as well. Yang Qi - Love the way he blends photos and paint into each other so well. Character's silhouettes are also clear and distinct.
