Popularly used typefaces from the 1960s: Baskerville and Univers. Plus, it’s “Univers.” Lots went small type, so to contrast that I went with large names, larger than life people that contribute to making something happen against a slightly dreamy background of space and the technologies necessary to get us there. The big thing I already remember about those missions is Kennedy’s speech about getting a man to the moon. That was the dream that entered the public mind. And then it was the consequence of seeing Earth from up there. All of us, as one. The biggest and most radical influence to come from the Apollo missions, IMHO. And the unexpected unity that is brought together through a field such as the sciences or the dreams sowed to get us there.
