Basic Light and Values

Always found value painting pretty tough but knowing how to organise the layers with masks really helps. I'll be doing these for a while. Edit: Looked over these with fresh eyes and it's much easier to pick out the errors. I'm finding grouping values is much easier to control, in turn simplifying the composition. I've adjusted an older sketch + added a another quick mood sketch. Still trying to get that sense of depth however. Cheers :)
